 Our Domaine stands between half an hour and an hour away from some of the most beatiful beaches of the french atlantic coast:
Fouras, Chatelaillon-Plage, Royan, La Côte Sauvage, Ile d'Oléron and Ile de Ré, not to forget Port d'Envaux, 15 mn From the Domaine, a nice beach on the banks of the Charente.

Besides the famous fortifications of La Rochelle, our region contains many Roman Art monuments, as the famous church in Aulnay de Saintonge, and gallo-roman vestiges. The Office de Tourisme de Saint-Jean-d'Angély proposes nightly guided theatral visits with many costumed actors that will take you to the heart of our region's rich history. Immerge yourself in prehistory with the famous Paléosite, 15 mn from the Domaine.
• Theatre

Every summer , a Theatre Festival takes place in Saint-Jean-d'Angély.
You can find one or more theatres in the towns of La Rochelle, Cognac, Saintes and Niort.
• Music:
The Francofolies de La Rochelle are one of the most famous festivals in France, but many other rhings happen here around music, Cognac Blues Passion for instance. A Jazz Club offers you several concerts per week in Saint-Savinien (15 km).

Cinéma:
A movie theater in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, many in Saintes, La Rochelle, Rochefort, Cognac will allow you to satisfy your passion for the movies.

The aquatic complex Atlantys of Saint-Jean-d'Angély, 5 mn from the Domain is one of the most beautiful swimming pools of the region, with its jaccuzzi, its sauna, and its aquagym and water-polo clubs.
• Canoe & Kayak Club:
Rowing down the Boutonne, two days excursions or single hour trips, 5 mn away from the Domain, in Saint-Jean-d'Angély.

5 mn from the Domaine, Saint-Jean-d'Angély offers you a large range of restaurants: Crèperies, Grills, Asian Restaurants and Pizzerias, of course, besides a few gastronomic places, as Le Scorlion, ideally stuated in the Royal Abbey or L'Hotel de la Place, with its original fine food.
• Cognacs and Pineaux:
Our region has been producing world famous alcohols for centuries. Visits and degustations will please you, drive carefully !

2 km from the Domaine, a baker and a Grocer's shop.
• Saint-Jean-d'Angély:
2 supermarkets, many small shops selling food and clothing, bookstores, a record shop, a cyberspace to read your emails, Saint-Jean holds everything to satisfy your needs. A market is held in the superb "Halle couverte" every wednesday and saturday morning. A fair takes place on the third saturday of each month.
